Where we came from

Cattle to quail, tomatoes to peaches, we have raised animals and grown up on a homestead. We choose to engage in regenerative permaculture to maintain the health of our family and the land.

Our commitment

We practice sustainable, organic, bio-dynamic, and regenerative agriculture. Our Wagyu cattle are long-fed and pasture-raised. Our herd’s genetics are rooted in foundation animals from Japan.

ROOTED IN REGENERATIVE AND ORGANIC PERMACULTURE

Our hands-on engagement in consistent pasture rotation is based on permaculture practices. We work with the land and invest in remineralizing the soil to produce nutrient-dense products.

Japanese Wagyu

We are dedicated to improving and engaging the market with Japanese Black, 黒毛和種 Kuroge Washu, Wagyu. The breed was introduced to America in 1975. During the late 1990's the Japanese Government banned exports of Wagyu genetics and declared Wagyu a national living treasure. Since then, many have bred the Japanese breed with standard American beef cattle. Our goal is to maintain the integrity of the fullblood Wagyu breed. We use embryos and artificial insemination (AI) breeding technology. Our Herds' Genomic data and EPDS result in high-quality fullblood genetics. Our future is based on providing foundation genetics and replacement animals.

AWA member

We are proud members of the American Wagyu Association, founded in 1990. We utilize the AWA genetic progeny testing to confirm our animals' direct lineage from Japanese Wagyu. The AWA is a great resource for the history of the breed.
